BREWING AND CIDER AWARDS SHAPING UP

Preparations for the 2021 International Brewing and Cider Awards – sometimes referred to as the ‘Oscars for the brewing industry’ – are underway with more than 30 companies confirming sponsorship.

The awards have been running since 1886 and will take place in November 2021 at the National Brewery Centre, Burton-upon-Trent, England.

Brewers and cider makers from across the globe are invited to enter their finest beers or ciders to be blind-judged by an international panel of commercially practicing expert brewers and cider-makers from around the world.

Headline sponsors for the 2021 Awards are BarthHaas, a leading supplier of hops and hop products, and international brewery process equipment manufacturer, Krones – both have a long-standing relationship with the competition.

“We’re extremely excited to announce all our sponsors who are supporting The International Brewing and Cider Awards. This year, we’ve partnered with both new and returning brands across the globe who all live and breathe the brewing and cider industry,” says director of the awards, Ruth Evans.

“As a non-for-profit competition, sponsorship is extremely important to us and all the sponsors, across several tiers, have contributed to the success of our prestigious Awards over many years. They enable us to recognise and celebrate the extraordinary beers and ciders that both brewers and cider-makers have worked so hard to produce.

“We’re extremely grateful for their support during such a difficult year and we look forward to hosting the event which commences in November.”

Entries for the awards open on July 1, 2021.  For more information about the awards, including a list of categories and entry criteria, please visit International Brewing and Cider Awards’ website.
