Wadding Solutions is committed to continuous improvement, says director Abbie Watson, and focused on enhancing internal systems and machinery to maintain the reputation for “efficient service, top-quality products, and exceptional customer care”.
“We’re dedicated to evolving in order to meet the needs of our customers and stay at the forefront of the industry,” says Watson.
She explains that a key area of focus has been the search for new and improved closure lining materials due to increasing environmental challenges and the need to adapt to market demands.
“We have been exploring variations to existing materials. Our goal is to provide sustainable solutions that align with the environmental shifts of 2025 and beyond.”
Customisable linings provide additional opportunities for branding, allowing logos, instructions, or other elements to be included inside the cap. Closure lining not only preserves product integrity and safety, but they also offer a way for brand owners to differentiate their products.
“The team at Wadding Solutions can assist with trials and testing of liners with packaging using a range of equipment in their test facility. Testing prior to production ensures your products and packaging have been through a thorough validation process before filling commences,” says Watson.
“We take great pride in our Food Safety ISO and HACCP certifications, which enable us to improve efficiencies, reduce waste, and provide a competitive advantage. Our work toward FSSC 22000 will further solidify our commitment to safety, sustainability, and innovation.”
“We are excited to be part of shaping a more sustainable future for the packaging industry,” says Watson.
Wadding Solutions is a founding member of the Caps and Lids Recycling Scheme – an industry-funded programme operated by the Packaging Forum designed to ensure as many metal and plastic caps and lids as possible are diverted from landfill, and instead placed back in the recycling and circular economy.
