New Zealand Medical and Scientific introduces a new range of products on offer – they consist of a range of sanitiser test papers and pH strips. These are manufactured by a very reputable company based in Brooklyn, USA by the name of Micro Essential Laboratories.

The aim of these products is to make the testing process as simple and effective as possible. Food safety is a growing concern both nationally and globally and as a consequence food-borne illness also continues grow.

One of the products from this range is the QT-10 test paper, it is a simple, reliable and economical means to measure the concentration of quaternary sanitisers, including n-alkyldimethylbenzyl and/or n-alkyl di methyl ethyl benzyl ammonium chloride, and Rocall II.

With colour matches at 0-100-200- 300-400ppm (parts per million), the test paper measures concentrations between 0-400ppm, detecting exhaustion of solutions that should be replaced as well as helping to avoid the use of excessive amounts of sanitising agents.

A major advantage of the test kits is their ease of use. The food service industry thrives on fast-paced business, meaning testing needs to be quick and reliable. To use our range of tests, a user simply dips the test paper into the sanitiser solution and compares the results to the colour chart provided with the kit. It’s more important than ever to consider food safety in the global marketplace, and a clean, safe facility is essential to the health of millions worldwide.
