Finalists for the 2013 NZ Food Awards were announced at an industry event at Villa Maria’s Mangere Estate late this month.
From more than 100 entries, 43 finalists were selected across 14 categories. Winners will be announced at a gala dinner at the Museum Events Centre on September 19.
NZ Food Awards judge, television presenter and chef Nici Wickes hosted the evening, and was joined by her fellow judges Ray McVinnie and Geoff Scott to congratulate the finalists.
