Marketer of Year Award

Nominations are being sought for the 2012 Marketer of Year Award. It will recognise outstanding achievement over the past year in the marketing of fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers in Australia and/or New Zealand.

The winners will be announced at the Produce Marketing Association Fresh Connections conference and trade show at the end of June.

The award is open to any person from “seed to shelf” (individually or as part of a team) and nominees can be from any part of the value chain.

It could be a seed producer marketing its products to growers, a service provider marketing its services to customers, or a retailer marketing its products to consumers.

Self-nominations and nominations by third parties are welcome, and must be received by 27 April 2012.

Provide a summary of the nominee’s marketing achievements in no more than 500 words, along with supporting evidence clearly demonstrating the success of the marketing campaign.

Third party testimonials are welcome but are not mandatory. Nominees should also detail how they would promote the award to help their business grow and develop over the next year.
