EvoGuard

The EvoGuard range of valves manufactured in-house by Krones AG, Germany, includes all the valve designs required in the beverage and dairy industries. Starting with disk valves and single-seat valves for simple pipe shut-off tasks, plus double-seal valves as an affordable alternative for use in separating hostile media, through to double-seat valves for highly automated sequences.

The very latest innovation is EvoGuard aseptic valves. Aseptic valves are the highest-quality models available on the market: users’ stipulations for their construction are exceptionally stringent. Krones has succeeded in designing aseptic valves that provide a perfect combination of safety and affordability. This means that Krones can now offer process and filling technology for aseptic operations featuring aseptic valves manufactured in-house as well.

The EvoGuard aseptic seat valves handle classical tasks like rerouting and shutting off product flows, or emptying tanks. EvoGuard aseptic double-seat valves are used for separating hostile media in aseptic and sterile processes. With double-seat valves, the routings in the production operation can be run under preprogrammed control. One salient feature of their construction, with major advantages for actual operation, is the fact that all cross-sectional areas have been responsively designed to match the nominal diameter involved, thus eliminating any restrictions on the flow rate.

As is the case with all EvoGuard valves, for the aseptic valves, too, a modularised range of choices is available, from which individual components can be selected to suit the particular application concerned. The EvoGuard range of aseptic valves is monitored by Krones AG’s stringent quality assurance systems, with batch tracking for all components and certified pressurised parts. When integrating aseptic valves, Krones draws upon its long years of experience as a line manufacturer to ensure optimum dimensioning coupled with maximised process dependability.
