The new Little Gem Aspire from Urschel is a compact dicer designed to deliver versatile slicing, strip cutting, and dicing for processors of fruit and vegetables.
Developed for small to medium-sized processing operations, the Little Gem Aspire combines multiple cutting capabilities within a compact footprint. Designed to support operational flexibility across a wide range of fresh produce applications, the machine delivers precise cuts while supporting efficient operation, ease of use, and a low total cost of ownership.
Scott Burrows, Heat and Control general manager for New Zealand, says one of the key advantages of the Little Gem Aspire is its versatility across multiple fruit and vegetable applications.
“Fresh produce naturally varies in size, density, and moisture content, so processors require equipment capable of delivering consistent, precise cuts across different products and applications,” says Burrows.
Suitable for a variety of fruit and vegetable applications, the Little Gem Aspire can process products including onions, potatoes, apples, carrots, tomatoes, beetroot, and mango. The machine is capable of producing slices from 2mm to 20mm, along with a range of strip cuts and dices up to 20mm.
“The Little Gem Aspire combines multiple cutting capabilities within a single machine, allowing processors to quickly transition between products while achieving uniform cutting results. These features make it an ideal solution for fruit and vegetable processors seeking efficiency, versatility, and low cost of ownership,” says Burrows.
Heat and Control can organise a no-obligation test cut so customers can see exactly how their product performs on the equipment.
“We work closely with processors to understand their product and cut requirements so we can recommend the right machine for the best processing outcome.”
